Editing

It feels really weird editing my footage this time around. I think i feel this way becuase i have full disclosure and use of the footage i have thus far, it doesnt include any other people, just me. So I have to really edit it well because I DO know how i feel (versus making sure not to manipulate it with my last video because it was NOT about me). I feel a lot more pressure from myself in particular, because I have a vision of this video that only i know how to put together and edit because it is driven by MY emotions. 

It is different than shooting because this time around shooting seemed a little more detailed while editing seems a little more personal. I can really take my time to get the shots i want, without making appointments with other people to shoot. I can have as may takes as I want and take as long as I want. In editing, I am playing around a lot more with cutting and pasting and shifting and moving. It is more personal because I am taking all the shots i got with my extensive time and fitting them together to create a piece that really works. This is more nerve racking because I do have to impress myself and get it right, where as shooting, i can try over and over again to get the good shots.
