100 Word Statement

I think the authors intentions were to connect this woman's intention of creating a better economic situation in Africa into the minds and aspirations of the viewing audience. The wanted to show that with one person's effort and idea, something as big as a country can begin to change for the better; from something as basic as empowering the lowest rung (women, most oppressed) of the population. Happiness, hope, community, and empowerment were prevalent.
